Vite Colte

Vite Colte

Vite Colte is a Piedmontese wine consortium of 180 winegrowers cultivating about 300 hectares of vineyard across the region, based in Barolo (CN). Every member follows a shared protocol aimed at sustainable, selective vineyard management: vines at least 15 years old, low yields, manual vegetation management and hand harvesting, with growers paid according to vineyard size rather than quantity produced, to align incentives with quality. The winery combines rural knowledge and tradition with agronomic research, and its cellar in Barolo was designed with eco-compatible materials, including curved copper roofs continuing into a grass-covered hillside and wooden trellises, to integrate the building into the Langhe landscape.
