Vite Colte Seicento

A higher-altitude, Pas Dosé Alta Langa aged a minimum of 42 months, longer than the estate's Cinquecento.

Tasting notes

Colour: straw yellow with a fine, persistent perlage. Bouquet: aromas ranging from honey and citrus to crusty bread. Palate: full and complex, with mineral notes, a creamy sensation and anise persistency.

Soil
Sedimentary soils of marine origin, calcareous with alternating layers of marl and sand.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation; Pinot Noir rests on the lees until the following spring while Chardonnay undergoes malolactic fermentation in small barrels, then the blend is made before the liqueur de tirage is added. After a minimum of 42 months' bottle ageing at 15 degrees C, the wine is riddled and disgorged as a Pas Dosé.
