Tasting notes

Ruby red with light purple reflexes; vinous bouquet of cherry and raspberry; good structure, moderate acidity and the typical almond finish.

Planted 1970, 4,000-4,500 vines/ha, trellis-trained, Guyot pruned; grape yield 9,000 kg/ha, wine yield 6,300 L/ha
Vinification
Fermented and macerated at least a week at 26-28C, then kept on lees at 20-22C for at least two months for malolactic fermentation, followed by 3 to 4 months of cold rest, bottled the following spring.
