Montaribaldi's current Arneis-based Spumante Brut Millesimato, launched to replace the historic Taliano Giuseppe sparkling wine; the name LR stands for Langhe & Roero and for current owners Luciano & Roberto.

Tasting notes

Bright straw yellow with a thin, persistent perlage; fruity bouquet of crisp apple and wildflowers with peach and pear; vibrant acidity balanced by elegance and a long finish.

Vinification
Soft-pressed and cold-settled, then a full second fermentation directly from the must by the Martinotti (Charmat) method, which runs slower given the must's natural sugar. Cold-stabilised and isobarically bottled; a millesimato, made entirely from the vintage on the label with no blending across years.
