Montaribaldi Nicülin

A Langhe DOC blend of Dolcetto, Nebbiolo and Merlot, refined about 12 months partly in oak.

Tasting notes

Bright ruby red with purple reflexes; fruity bouquet of cherry jam, red and black berries and spice from the oak ageing; full, well-balanced with developed tannins.

Vinification
The three varieties are fermented separately (Dolcetto 4-6 days at 26-28C, Merlot and Nebbiolo 6-8 days at 27-29C), each resting on its lees at least two months, then a 3 to 4 month cold rest before blending. Aged about 12 months, part in oak barrels, bottled about a year after harvest.
