Intense, bright purple red; wide, fruity bouquet with floral and spiced hints; full, good structure, soft tannins with a pleasant, warm persistence.

- 4,000-4,500 vines/ha, trellis-trained, Guyot pruned; grape yield 9,000 kg/ha, wine yield 6,300 L/ha
- Vinification
- The three varieties are fermented separately (Dolcetto 4-6 days at 26-28C, Barbera and Nebbiolo 6-8 days at 27-29C), each resting on its lees at least two months, then a 3 to 4 month cold rest before blending. Refined about 8 months, bottled a few months after.
