Montaribaldi Sàrz

A Barolo DOCG aged about 38 months, partly in wood, from a south-facing vineyard planted in 1982.

Tasting notes

Garnet red with orange reflexes; intense bouquet of wood, ripe fruit and spice; full and persistent, with austere but not bitter tannins.

Vinification
Fermented at least a week at 28-30C, then kept on lees at 20-22C for at least two months for malolactic fermentation. Aged about 38 months, partly in wooden barrels, and bottled after 3 years from harvest.
