Terre dei Santi Zaffo

A barrel-aged Freisa d'Asti from the oldest, best-exposed vines.

Tasting notes

Ruby with slight garnet reflections. Intense, complex nose of plum, blueberry and raspberry with spice, especially vanilla and cinnamon. Decidedly dry, warm and soft with good body and tannin rounded by ageing.

Pairs well with

Structured or savoury dishes: beef stew, polenta with spezzatino, game in salmi or grilled lamb.

Vinification
