Terre dei Santi Cari

A sweet, lightly sparkling red from Cari (Pelaverga), a historic grape of the Turin hills.

Tasting notes

Pale cerasuolo red. Intense, fragrant nose of fresh cherry and wild strawberry. Lightly lively, sweet and very elegant, repeating the fruit on the palate; fine, persistent bubbles.

Pairs well with

Desserts and dry pastries, or between meals. In the production area it is traditionally served with strawberries.

Vinification
After a short maceration the grapes are pressed and the must goes through a slow fermentation with temperature-controlled second fermentation. No maturation.
