A barrel-aged Freisa, rounded and spicy, made from Asti and Chieri grapes.

Tasting notes

Ruby red tending to garnet. Floral and fruity with hints of raspberry and a delicate spice note. Dry and full-bodied with soft tannin, good acidity, great balance and a long finish.

Pairs well with

Game, salumi and medium to long-aged cheeses.

Vinification
Hand-picked, soft crushing, long maceration at no more than 26 C, with run-off of the seeds. Matured at least 30 months in barrel and bottle: first medium-small barrels, then large ones.

18 to 20 C; open one hour ahead, ideally decant
