Bosio Family Estates

Bosio is a family winery in Santo Stefano Belbo, in the Moscato hills of the Langhe. Egidio and Angela Bosio started making wine here in 1967. Their son Valter expanded the vineyards from the 1980s, and today Valter, his wife Rosella and their son Luca, who trained in oenology, run the business. The family owns more than 30 hectares and works with over 150 long-standing growers across Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, about 700 hectares in all, vinifying everything in its own cellar. The range covers Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, Gavi, Moscato d'Asti and sparkling wines, sold under four labels: Bosio, Luca Bosio Vineyards, Truffle Hunter Leda and the certified organic Passato Organic, which draws on twelve hectares. Santo Stefano Belbo is also the birthplace of the writer Cesare Pavese.
