Barbera d'Alba named after Egidio, the founder of the winery and father of Valter, made from a Barbera vineyard Valter planted for the purpose. Aged about a year in barriques.
Tasting notes
Ruby red with garnet reflections. A rich nose where red berry fruit meets spice and closes on vanilla. Powerful but harmonious, vinous and full. Dry with silky tannin.
Pairs well with
Cheese, pasta, risotto, meat like brasato.
