Cantina della Serra Serra Dry

Dry Martinotti-method sparkling wine, 11.5 to 12% alcohol, about 40,000 bottles a year. Notes of pear, banana, bread crust and white peach.

Tasting notes

Brilliant, pale straw yellow. Fresh, with ripe fruit notes of citrus and passion fruit, pear, banana, bread crust and white peach. Fairly fresh and soft on the palate, with a perlage that supports the balance.

Pairs well with

Fried dishes and savoury foods, cured ham with melon and gnocco fritto; also as an aperitif, alone or in cocktails, or with desserts

Vinification
Quick pressing of the grapes and a careful selection of the musts, with alcoholic fermentation started at controlled temperature. 2 months on the lees with frequent stirring. Technical cork. Dry residual sugar; total acidity 6.5 g/L, pH 3.2.
