Single-variety Freisa aged a year in small casks, 13% alcohol, about 1,500 bottles a year.

Tasting notes

Ruby red with garnet hints. Fairly intense nose of fresh red fruit and light spice. Fresh, enveloping and fairly tannic.

Vinification
Destemmed and crushed, quick start to fermentation in steel, 10 days of maceration, then racked off for malolactic fermentation. Aged 15 months in total: 12 in 5 hl casks and 3 in bottle. Minimal filtration.
