Nebbiolo from Tupièl, a vineyard area of Piverone, aged 20 months in barrel, 14 to 14.5% alcohol, about 7,000 bottles a year. Bronze medal and 89 points at the 2020 Decanter World Wine Awards (2017 vintage).

Tasting notes

Deep garnet red with orange shades. Elegant complexity with balsamic and floral notes of violet and ripe cherry, blended with toasted and spicy notes. A rich balance of structure, complexity and freshness, with the tannin evolving, balanced, persistent and robust.

Pairs well with

Dishes of medium intensity but rich in aromas, with succulence, a touch of sweetness and light spice
