Vigna Colonnello
By Prunotto, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Vigna Colonnello comes from a single prized hectare in Monforte d'Alba, uniting the finesse of Tortonian soils with the structure of Serravallian terrain in Prunotto's top single-vineyard Barolo Riserva.
Tasting notes
Garnet red. Black cherry and plum on the nose meet light balsamic hints and rose, completed by blackberry, wildflower and small red fruit. Elegant and refined on the palate, mouth-filling with supple, polished tannins and excellent freshness, closing with a long, echoing finish.
Pairs well with
Red meats, game, aged cheeses.
