Barbaresco
By Prunotto, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Prunotto's Barbaresco, produced from vineyards in Treiso and Neive, is an aristocratic yet accessible expression of Nebbiolo, aged in large oak barrels for balance and softness.
Tasting notes
Intense garnet red. Complex on the nose, with wild berries, spice and aromatic herbs, followed by sweet tobacco, liquorice, black pepper and delicate balsamic nuances. Velvety, harmonious and elegant on the palate, with a long, persistent finish.
