Cerretta
By Prunotto, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Cerretta comes from a historic vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba, first vinified by Prunotto in 2017; varied exposure and traditional large-barrel ageing intensify Nebbiolo's balance and complexity here.
Tasting notes
Bright, lively ruby red with garnet hues. Refined and pleasant on the nose, with small red fruit meeting rose, violet, and spicy pink pepper and clove. Elegant and balanced on the palate, with remarkable freshness and savoury, well-balanced tannins, closing with a persistent, echoing finish.
Pairs well with
Red meats, game, aged cheeses.
