Bussia
By Prunotto, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Barolo Bussia comes from the magnificent amphitheatre-shaped vineyard in Monforte d'Alba, first produced as a single-vineyard wine by Prunotto in 1961.
Tasting notes
Bright, lively garnet red with ruby hues. The nose offers notes of blood orange and plum with floral aromas of rose and violet, spicy hints of pepper, cinnamon and forest floor. The palate is intense and juicy with supple tannins, outstanding freshness and a persistent finish with rich fruit and aromatic herb notes.
Pairs well with
Red meats, game, aged cheeses.
