Serra comes from an exceptional vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba, first produced by Prunotto in this vintage in limited quantities from an area historically renowned for Barolo.
Tasting notes
Dark garnet red. Refined and pleasant on the nose, with intense small red fruit meeting hints of rose, violet, pink pepper and ginger. Elegant and well-balanced on the palate, with outstanding freshness and savoury, balanced tannins, and a persistent, fruity aftertaste.
Pairs well with
Red meats, game, aged cheeses.

- Grapes were destemmed and crushed on arrival, with maceration on the skins for about a week at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Malolactic fermentation completed before the end of winter. The wine ages at least 18 months in 50 hL oak barrels.
