Sparkling
Lever du Soleil
By Cooperativa Vallebelbo, Langhe, Piemonte, Italy
Lever du Soleil is Vallebelbo's dedicated Moscato d'Asti label, a sweet, lightly sparkling wine with a young, joyful, exuberant character. The French name, meaning sunrise, followed a trip to France that left the cooperative more convinced than ever of their moscato's uniqueness.
Tasting notes
Bright straw yellow with golden reflections and light effervescence. Harmonious aromas of lime, aromatic herbs and white peach, with notes of shortcrust pastry. Sweet but balanced on the palate, with surprising freshness and a lovely fragrance and long finish.
