Collezione '56's Asti DOCG Metodo Classico is made from 100% moscato bianco, the native Piemonte grape for which Santo Stefano Belbo is a key growing area recognised worldwide.

Tasting notes

The grape and soil character come through as a uniquely aromatic wine. The nose shows floral notes and white-fleshed fruit, balanced by delicate sage and wisteria, the palate is balanced, with good acidity supporting the sweetness and a long finish.

Vinification
Grapes are hand harvested in early September, then pressed gently. First fermentation in temperature-controlled steel, second fermentation in bottle with at least 20 months ageing sur lie.
