Propàgo

Enrico Serafino Propàgo

The estate's Alta Langa wines are traditionally Pinot Noir led, and Propàgo, named from the Latin for bud or shoot, was its first 100% Chardonnay bottling, adding the variety's breadth to the crisp character its higher-altitude vineyards give.

Tasting notes

Straw yellow with golden reflections and a fine, persistent perlage, a broad, complex, inviting, delicate nose of lime blossom, citrus and honey with pleasant mineral notes, and a broad, complex, vertical, dry, fresh, citrus palate, elegant and intense, with a rich, crisp texture and a long mineral aftertaste.

Pairs well with

An aperitif spumante above all, also enjoyed throughout a meal.
