Enrico Serafino Briccolina

Briccolina, named for the hilltop vineyard it comes from in Serralunga d'Alba, is the estate's most powerful and austere Barolo, released as a Riserva from its oldest vines.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby red with garnet reflections, a broad, intense and complex nose of blackberry, liquorice, tobacco, spice, coffee bean and faded rose with clear Nebbiolo character, and a broad, multi-faceted, dry, full-bodied, elegant palate with fine, plentiful tannins and a long finish.

Pairs well with

Game, roasts and aged cheeses, also enjoyed after dinner.
