Crichët Pajé

By Roagna, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy

Roagna Crichët Pajé

The result of research by Giovanni Roagna to select this specific terroir, aged longer than the estate's other wines and long kept as the family's personal reserve. Alfredo Roagna first released it to the market in 1978; the estate considers it its highest expression.

Tasting notes

This Barbaresco Crichët Pajé exhibits a deep garnet color, with an aristocratic nose of dried flowers, cherry, and a hint of truffle. The palate is incredibly structured and complex, with powerful yet refined tannins and a persistent, mineral-driven finish.
