The traditional Langhe Nebbiolo, made and aged in large barrels the way the founder Pasquale preferred, and named after him in dialect.

Tasting notes

Appearance: pale ruby with hints of garnet. Nose: rose, violet, red currant, raspberry, black pepper, tobacco, cocoa. Palate: mineral, full-bodied and persistent, with velvety tannins

Pairs well with

Italian salami, spaghetti Bolognese, lasagna Bolognese, beef Stroganoff, meatloaf, pot roast, pulled pork, Texas-style barbecue

Vinification
Soft pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation for 10 days, malolactic fermentation. Aged 12 months in large French oak casks. Bottled in August. About 8,000 bottles a year, 14% alcohol.
