A steel-aged Dolcetto d'Alba from a 30-year-old vineyard, the grape that kept the family going when the Langhe was poor.
Tasting notes
Appearance: deep ruby with hints of purple. Nose: red rose, cherry, plum, black currant, almond. Palate: crisp and juicy, with good structure and solid tannins; an easy everyday wine
Pairs well with
Salami, pepperoni and fuet, semi-hard cheeses, mushroom risotto, chicken and dumplings, chicken wings, pot pie, meatballs

- Vinification
- Soft pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation for 8 days, malolactic fermentation. Aged 3 months in stainless steel tanks. Bottled at the end of March. About 6,000 bottles a year, 13% alcohol.
