A dry, still and powerful Freisa aged in large French oak, the favourite wine of Ornella's father Pasquale.
Tasting notes
Appearance: ruby with garnet hues. Nose: red rose, raspberry, sweet spices, eucalyptus. Palate: full-bodied, persistent and refined, with high tannins that point to long ageing
Pairs well with
Bean soup, meatloaf, fried chicken, buffalo wings, barbecue ribs, chili con carne

- Vinification
- Soft pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation for 10 days, malolactic fermentation. Aged 12 months in large French oak casks. Bottled in August. About 4,000 bottles a year, 14% alcohol.
