Red
Maria Gioana
By F.lli Giacosa, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
A selection of the estate's best Barbera lots from three vineyards, named after a local Piedmontese song about a lady called Maria Gioana who is cured of her troubles by wine.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red. Winey, intense and fruity bouquet. Dry and fresh on the palate thanks to its acidity, improving and harmonising with age.
Pairs well with
Excellent with hearty dishes of game, roasts, pork, boiled meats and spicy cheeses.
