Red
Basarin
By F.lli Giacosa, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Barbaresco from the Basarin hill in Neive, where the family's Nebbiolo vines benefit from a particular exposure that the producer says gives the wine its maturity and structure.
Tasting notes
Ruby red turning garnet red with age. Intense yet delicate bouquet reminiscent of violets, fruit and currant jelly. Dry, smooth, full-bodied and delicately velvety on the palate.
Pairs well with
Ideal with roast meats and feathered game.
