Cantina Clavesana Roero Arneis

Roero Arneis DOCG, one of Piemonte's best-known white wines, made from Arneis grown on the sandy left bank of the Tanaro.

Tasting notes

Straw yellow with greenish highlights. Spiced nose with vegetal notes. Sweet entry on the palate with good breadth, finishing warm and savoury.

Pairs well with

Light vegetable starters, delicate white meats and seafood menus; also a good aperitif.

Guyot-trained, vines 20-25 years old, density 4,000 vines/ha, yield up to 10 t/ha.
Vinification
Fermented on clarified must at 16-18°C in stainless steel fermenters, aged in steel. Alcohol 13%, minimum acidity 4.5 g/l.
