Langhe Pinot Nero

By Cantina Clavesana, Dogliani, Piemonte, Italy

Cantina Clavesana Langhe Pinot Nero

Langhe DOC Pinot Nero from cool, high-altitude Alta Langa vineyards, macerated in steel and aged in oak barriques.

Tasting notes

Delicate garnet red. Soft aromas of tobacco and smoky spice. Fresh, round, well-integrated tannins with ripe fruit, and long ageing potential.

Pairs well with

Suited to a whole meal: first courses with meat sauces, cured meat boards and white meats; surprisingly good with fish too, such as salted sea bass or fish soup.
