A Barbaresco DOCG from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the four communes of the appellation, aged 24 months in oak.

Tasting notes

Bright garnet red in the glass, with dried fig and spice on the nose turning towards preserve with air. Elegant and velvety on the palate, with good length.

Pairs well with

Elaborate dishes such as braised meat or game.

Produced in the four communes of Barbaresco, Neive, Treiso and San Rocco Seno d'Elvio (a hamlet of Alba), from vineyards at 400-450 m altitude.

Vineyard planting
Guyot-trained, vines 35-40 years old, density no less than 3,500 vines/ha, yield 7.2 t/ha.
Vinification
Fermented in steel with maceration on the skins for more than 15 days, followed by full malolactic fermentation; aged 24 months in oak casks. Alcohol 14.5%, minimum acidity 4.5 g/l.
