Barbera d'Alba Superiore Terra

By Cantina Clavesana, Dogliani, Piemonte, Italy

Cantina Clavesana Barbera d'Alba Superiore Terra

The Superiore version of Barbera d'Alba, from older vines and aged at least six months in oak for extra structure.

Tasting notes

Deep ruby red. Fruity and spiced on the nose, recalling cloves, red fruit and plums. Full and velvety on the palate with cherry notes and a long, persistent finish.

Pairs well with

Agnolotti al plin, tajarin with truffle, and braised meats; good with aged cheeses and hearty first courses with meat and truffle.
