By Cantina Clavesana, Dogliani, Piemonte, Italy

Cantina Clavesana Piemonte Barbera

An everyday Piemonte DOC Barbera, widely enjoyed across the region.

Tasting notes

Deep ruby red. Winy notes with a hint of blackberry and bilberry on the nose. Varietal acidity on the palate with a savoury, slightly bitter finish.

Pairs well with

Light but flavourful Piemontese first courses, giardiniera, agnolotti, and medium-aged cheeses; good for an informal dinner with piadina or pizza.
