Nebbiolo d'Alba aged at least 12 months in large oak barrels. Ageing potential over 10 years.

Tasting notes

Intense red with garnet reflections. Intense, persistent, slightly spicy nose with undergrowth and cooked fruit. Substantial, harmonious, with well-blended tannins, ripe plum, dried fig and leather. Long, persistent finish.

Pairs well with

Elaborate first courses, risottos, red and white meats, fresh and medium-aged cheeses.

Vinification
Macerated on the skins in automatic temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with repeated pumping over and oxygenation until all sugars are fermented; then racked and left on fine lees for malolactic fermentation. Aged at least 12 months in large oak barrels and 6 months in bottle.
