Bersano Cannubi

Barolo from the Cannubi cru in Barolo, aged at least 30 months in oak and 18 months in bottle. Ageing potential over 20 years.

Tasting notes

Ruby red with slight orange reflections. Ripe cherry and plum, tobacco, liquorice and balsamic notes. Elegant, ethereal and structured, with a long, persistent finish and well-balanced tannins.

Pairs well with

Game, red meats, elaborate main courses and strong-flavoured cheeses.

Vinification
Macerated on the skins in automatic temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with repeated pumping over and oxygenation until all sugars are fermented; then racked and left on fine lees for malolactic fermentation. Aged at least 30 months in oak barrels and 18 months in bottle.
