Bersano Cremosina

Nizza from the Cremosina vineyard, the first vineyard bought by the Bersano family in 1912. Aged 12 months in oak. Ageing potential over 10 years.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby red with violet reflections. Broad, enveloping and complex on the nose with blackberry and ripe red fruit, spice and balsamic notes. Intense, harmonious, enveloping and persistent.

Pairs well with

Suits a whole meal; best with substantial first courses, red meats and medium to long-aged cheeses.

Vinification
Macerated on the skins in automatic temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with repeated pumping over and oxygenation until all sugars are fermented; then racked and left on fine lees for malolactic fermentation. Aged at least 12 months in oak barrels and 6 months in bottle.
