Nizza Riserva from the Generala estate in Agliano Terme, aged at least 12 months in wood and 12 in bottle. Ageing potential over 10 years.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby red with violet reflections. Broad, enveloping and complex on the nose with vanilla, cocoa, undergrowth and cherry. Rich and velvety, persistent and harmonious, with a finish that returns to fruit.

Pairs well with

Elaborate first courses, red meats, game and strong-flavoured cheeses.

Vinification
Macerated on the skins in automatic temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with repeated pumping over and oxygenation until all sugars are fermented; then racked and left on fine lees for malolactic fermentation. Aged at least 12 months in wood (80% tonneaux, 20% oak barrels) and 12 months in bottle.
