Barolo Riserva from the Badarina vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba, aged at least 60 months. Ageing potential over 20 years.

Tasting notes

Intense red with garnet reflections. Intense and complex on the nose with cocoa, mint, black cherry and leather. Harmonious, persistent and full-bodied.

Pairs well with

Excellent with game, substantial roasts, truffles, mushrooms and strong-flavoured cheeses.

Vinification
Macerated on the skins in automatic temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with repeated pumping over and oxygenation until all sugars are fermented; then racked and left on fine lees for malolactic fermentation. Aged at least 60 months in oak barrels, tonneaux and bottle.
