Barolo from the Badarina vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba, aged at least 48 months. Ageing potential over 20 years.

Tasting notes

Intense red with garnet reflections. Broad, enveloping and complex on the nose with blackberry and ripe red fruit, spice and balsamic notes. Intense, harmonious, enveloping and persistent on the palate.

Pairs well with

Game, red meats, elaborate main courses and strong-flavoured cheeses.

Vinification
Macerated on the skins in automatic temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with repeated pumping over and oxygenation until all sugars are fermented; then racked and left on fine lees for malolactic fermentation. Aged at least 48 months in oak barrels, tonneaux and bottle.
