Red
Lautus
By Roberto Sarotto, Langhe, Piemonte, Italy
A Barbera-Nebbiolo blend named from the Latin for elegant and distinguished.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby red. Combines the intensity and softness of Barbera with the austere, tannic structure of Nebbiolo for a wine of finesse and longevity.
Pairs well with
Braised meats, stewed game and rich pasta dishes such as tagliatelle with duck ragout, or aged cheeses such as Castelmagno DOP
