White
Serica
By Cantina Sociale di Nizza, Nizza, Piemonte, Italy
Cortese from the Alto Monferrato, a variety the producer says has grown in these hills for over three centuries. 12.5% vol.
Tasting notes
Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections and a very personal nose of acacia flowers, jasmine and pear. Dry, savoury and pleasantly bitter on the palate.
Pairs well with
Excellent with seafood starters and also white meat, rabbit or a salad of local hen; a good partner for Cuneo DOP raw ham.
