Red
Le Pole
By Cantina Sociale di Nizza, Nizza, Piemonte, Italy
The cooperative's straight Barbera d'Asti. Barbera 100%, 13.5% vol.
Tasting notes
Purple-red, a sign of youth, with fruity aromas, above all rose and blackcurrant. A substantial wine of good structure that develops riper aromas with age. Full on the palate with good savouriness and the honest fragrance typical of Barbera.
Pairs well with
Very versatile: red meat dishes, starters and above all traditional Piedmontese cooking; also international cuisine. Unusual pairing: pizza with cream and salmon.
