Cantina Sociale di Nizza Palearum

Vermouth di Torino made on Moscato from the Nizza Monferrato hills, with seeds of the local Slow Food cardoon gobbo. 16% vol.

Tasting notes

Deep straw colour from Moscato grapes of the Nizza Monferrato hills; notes of aromatic herbs and a marked citrus character. Sweet and full on the palate with a gently bitter aftertaste emphasised by the cardoon seeds.

Pairs well with

An aperitif served cold with or without ice, with an orange shot, or with candied citrus peel dipped in dark chocolate; also as a cooking ingredient for fish, seafood and meat. Unusual pairing: gorgonzola and other blue cheeses.
