Sparkling
Nèi
By Cantina Sociale di Nizza, Nizza, Piemonte, Italy
Charmat-method Brut from Chardonnay and Cortese, kept over 6 months in autoclave. 12.5% vol.
Tasting notes
A light, fine, fairly persistent perlage and delicate white-fleshed fruit, giving pleasantly fresh scents with good softness and easy drinking.
Pairs well with
Aperitif, or through a meal with simple dishes like cured meats, lardo and culatello; try with fish-sauce pasta such as paccheri with prawns, or white meat.
