Alta Langa 36 Mesi

By Cantina Sociale di Nizza, Nizza, Piemonte, Italy

Cantina Sociale di Nizza Alta Langa 36 Mesi

Metodo classico Alta Langa with three years on the lees. Pinot Nero and Chardonnay, 12% vol.

Tasting notes

Straw yellow with golden reflections and a very fine, long-lasting perlage. Opens with bread crust and flint-like minerality, then ripe yellow fruit, wisteria and lightly toasted hazelnuts. Crisp, savoury, structured and fresh on the palate with barely hinted hardness.

Pairs well with

Gastronomic wine for Piedmontese dishes, particularly white truffle; also second courses, preferably raw meat, tempura, seafood and strongly flavoured vegetables.
