White
Bacchebianche
By Cantina Sociale di Nizza, Nizza, Piemonte, Italy
Viognier with low acidity and strong aromatics, aged on the lees in small French oak for at least 6 months. 14% vol.
Tasting notes
Straw yellow with golden reflections. A burst of flowers on the nose, lily of the valley, lemon blossom, gardenia, acacia and lavender, with peach, citrus peel, sage and cardamom. Soft, warm, round and well balanced on the palate with great structure and a long finish ending in apricot.
Pairs well with
Elaborate fish dishes, scallops, grouper, grilled white meat, rolled rabbit and medium-aged cheese; the house suggestion is spiced dishes including Indian curry.
