White
Rugiada
By Cantina Sant'Evasio, Nizza, Piemonte, Italy
A characterful Langhe Arneis grown on calcareous marl, named 'Rugiada' (dew).
Tasting notes
Yellow with greenish highlights, clear and bright. Distinctive, strong, intense, persistent bouquet with notes of honey and camomile. Full, long, soft, harmonious palate.
Pairs well with
Good for aperitivo, and thanks to its good alcohol content also for white or lightly elaborate red meats, such as cold roast veal, chicken salad, chargrilled chicken breast, and fish dishes such as Livorno-style red mullet or stuffed octopus, as well as savoury vegetable dishes like rice-stuffed peppers.
