By Renato Buganza, Roero, Piemonte, Italy

Renato Buganza Gerbole Barbera

Barbera from the Gerbole hill in Guarene, planted in 1970 and aged 18 months in oak.

Tasting notes

Ruby red, almost impenetrable in colour. Intense black cherry and spice on the nose. Rich, soft, velvety and enveloping on the palate.

Pairs well with

A wine for contemplation, or for red and grilled meats and aged, fermented cheeses.
